Ironman Software PowerShell Universal is an enterprise-grade platform that simplifies PowerShell script management and execution. It offers a centralized web portal for managing and deploying scripts, APIs, and apps, ensuring that only authorized users can execute scripts and that scripts are only run on compatible machines. Additionally, PowerShell Universal provides advanced features for auditing, logging, and reporting, giving organizations complete visibility into their PowerShell environment.
PowerShell Universal v4.2 introduces 'Computer Groups', adding the ability to create groups of computers that are associated based on user name, domain or operating system tags. Each group has a set of mandatory tags that must be applied to all computers within that group. This ensures that specific scripts, APIs, or apps are only executed on computers belonging to designated groups.
